Led by the evocative vocals of lead singer Paddy Hornby, Sodden Pelt is a five-piece ensemble that effortlessly bridges the gap between the traditional and the modern. On the track, lead singer Paddy Hornby states: “A downward glance, sod’s lore moment of noticing that you’re still attached to a slapped and fleeing horse. ‘Honey for A Doctor’ is a period of realisation that before you, lies an ever-growing Hieronymus sketch of rats and scoundrels. It is a decision to throw in the towel and burn your own house down before they come knocking. This, to many, would be the ultimate act of protest.”
