ABOUT THIS BAND
The headlong collision of two singular voices, Mumble Tide have never conformed to type. Over the last few years, they’ve crafted their own distinctive brand of kaleidoscopic indie, all anchored by the crystalline, plaintive voice of singer Gina Leonard.
Now they return with a new single ‘The Rails’, out on the 5th November via Breakfast Records. Their first release in a year, it saw the pair embrace a slower approach to the songwriting process, with composer Ryan Rogers drawing out the intimate depths of Leonard’s vocals and filing down production to its sharpest points. The result is an effortlessly disarming and tender slice of fractured pop, one that reflects the messy journey towards life’s calmer shores.
