Yorkshire’s Feral Family follow-up their spaghetti-Western evoking ‘Wee Van Bee’ with the equally cinematic vision of new single ‘Spice King’. Inspired by Frank Herbert’s visionary science-fiction saga, Dune, the track thunders and wails like an interplanetary apocalypse. Their music as vital and mind-expanding as the novel’s precious currency, Spice King will elevate you to an altered state. Hailing from a remote East Coast town overlooking the North Sea, perhaps Bridlington’s best had an inevitable draw to the bleak landscapes of Herbert’s imagined worlds and of dreams far beyond. Spice King is out now on all digital platforms. As their name suggests, Feral Family are hungry and relentless, it’s in their DNA. Raised in a quiet seaside town on the East coast of Yorkshire. The band’s EP arrives in Spring 2023, a dark brooding collection melding the gothic and euphoric, destined to haunt the imagination.
