The aptly named Sirene is an indie singer/songwriter of Irish descent who grew up in West Yorkshire. Now based in South East London, she tells scintillating tales about feeling like a “fish out of water” using her distinctive and enchanting voice. Fuelled by travel and adventure, Sirene writes honestly about her direct experience as a woman in the world today. Her 2022 EP, Communication Conversation, was written in lockdown about unsaid conversations. The debut release was greatly celebrated by many including 6Music and BBC Introducing, alongside a sold out launch show at The Shacklewell Arms in London. Now, Sirene is back with her new single ‘Fast Lane’ coming out on 19 September 2023. This is a single from her forthcoming EP Turn The TV Up which will be released in November of this year.
“Absolutely stunning” - DEB GRANT, 6MUSIC
“Her smoky, multi-octave vocal is not just unique but unforgettable, and it’s one of the greatest in the business” - THE REVUE
“Echoes elements of Kate Bush, it’s really special” - JERICHO KEYS, BBC INTRODUCING (Record of the Week)
