‘To Believe (Late Summer Part 2 - Autumn)’ is the new release and re-visit from South London producer and songwriter Saint Jude. The track continues his theme of rejecting finality in the songwriting process. His previous release, ‘To Believe (To Repel Ghosts Part 2)’, was approached from a similar perspective: “These two songs are kinda like two sides of the same coin - late summer 2 is more personal - about a personal desire to believe in something. Whereas to repel ghosts 2 is more about wanting clarity in the external world. An attempt to make sense of the world rather than making sense of yourself. They are kind of mirrored, parallel universe versions of the original versions of these songs.” Musically, it’s a grungy, raw cut that allows Saint Jude to sing his reflective lyrics above simple, distorted electric guitar chords with the emotional intensity of prime Billy Bragg. -Dan Peeke
