Premium Leisure is the solo project of songwriter/producer and guitarist, Chris Barker. Combining the assured lounge-indie of White Denim and the unrelenting groove of 1970s psych-pop. The latest singles, ‘Remedies’ and 'Ready For Forever' are the first moreish taste of a 4-track EP that will arrive at the start of 2021 through new label Plum Cuts founded by producer Oli Barton-Wood.
Premium Leisure enlists a who’s-who of Oxford’s burgeoning music scene, with Drummer Mike Monaghan of Saint Etienne and Gaz Coombes, Ash Cooke of Be Good, Casper Miles & Jack Kendrew of Pet Sematary, Bassist Harry Deacon of Palace and Willie J Healey joining forces to contribute to Chris’ project.
