With politically charged debut single "North Of Hell" picking up immediate support from Radio X's tastemaker guru John Kennedy and the track winning Amazing Radio's fan selected 'Audition Poll' show, MUCK. are keen to keep riding their chaotic wave with 'RECKLESS RADIO'.
This time instead of looking out at the world, they take you inwards...
'RECKLESS RADIO' is a rickety theme park ride into the depths of egotism, its fiery peak and final throw being ego death. Visiting two contrasting sections; a grungy four to the floor double verse chorus structure portraying a boastful egocentric confidence brimming with naïveté culminating into a literal metaphorical breakdown; in this second act MUCK. take us on an irate, chaotic journey through the demise of such an ego - a quickening spiral into insanity.
Speaking about the track, singer Sam states: "'RECKLESS RADIO' is an ode to the naivety of a performed ego and how quickly it can unravel. It’s coming of age, and what happens it when arrives. These themes, steeped in a dirty fuzz driven rock and roll entanglement, aim to put you in the centre of an over confident yet corrupted mind."
Haling from Yorkshire, and forming in Leeds, MUCK. are a four piece band comprising of Sam (Vox), Brad (Lead Guitar),Joe (bassist) and Taylor (drums). MUCK. create an eclectic mix of rhyme scheme-driven, hiphop-based lyricism with the emerging post punk revival sound. With beats, bars and gritty punk rock, the band aren’t afraid to experiment sonically and continue to produce vital and relevant music.
