French Londoner Franz Kirmann has been releasing music since 2006 both as a solo artist and with various collaborators from painters, musicians to filmmakers and digital artists. He founded electronic music label Days Of Being Wild in 2009 as well as electronic / post classical crossover duo Piano Interrupted with pianist / composer Tom Hodge with who he made three albums and toured Europe extensively between 2013 and 2016. He has released music on various imprints over the years mainly Denovali Records in Germany and Bytes / Ransom Note in the UK as well as worked on a handful of scores most notably BBC series MacMafia in 2017 and Storyville Locked In: Breaking The Silence in 2021 (BAFTA winner for best documentary). Between 2019 and 2021, Kirmann's music has been concentrating on live improvisations with modular synthesizers. 2022 sees him exploring granular sampling and textural soundscapes through his work as Sérine and latest album "Forget Me Not" to be released on April 1st.
