Elyas

Elyas (from Berre-l'Etang in France) made his Motech Records debut with a track on their annual compilation series 'Consortium Vol.2' [MT140] in 2020, closely followed by 'The Get Down EP' [MT 142] in 2021, having previously released music on labels including Developer's Modularz. Since then, he's featured on the likes of Ben Sims' Symbolism and now runs the Seclusion label where he's appeared as both Elyas and 13130 Space Project.

On his 'Classic EP' he delivers his signature tribal rhythms. Influenced by Detroit Techno, Elyas was inspired to create tracks that are a hybrid of old-school meets new-school for a classic style that's ripe for this summer's dance floors. Elyas kicks off those good vibes in fine style with 'Highlife', before taking it deeper on second track, 'Positive Energy' with additional vocal drops and a raw groove. 'Mad To This Music' features warm synth tones that exude that Motor City funk, before the EP's closer, 'Classic' which brings rumbling rhythms, sweeping chords and a tough beat.
