ABOUT THIS BAND

FES are a UK 3 piece Math-Pop / Rock band based across Peterborough and Leeds. Having formed in late 2016, the band has quickly established a name for themselves by touring the UK with their energetic stage show, slick tempo changes and repulsively catchy math pop melodies.

FES has taken inspiration from many math-rock bands, and pop artists such as (but not limited to) Fish Tank, Signals, St Vincent, Paramore and Biffy Clyro and focus on lyrical topics such as identity, mental health, nostalgia and grief. Featuring Pollyanna Holland-Wing on guitar/vocals, Tom Holland-Wing on drums and Matthew West on bass.

FES has now released two four-track EPs (‘You Do You’ in 2017 and ‘Lunar’ in 2018) along with a split EP with Brighton math rockers Exploder called ‘Sleep Less’ in 2017.
