ABOUT THIS ARTIST

22 year old Scouse producer and word smith 'Derrick Nenzo' started making hip hop beats on a bootlegged Logic Pro 9 at the age of 16. Since then he has developed his own sub genre merging influences of hip hop, hyper pop, bedroom pop and punk to form a mutant sonic baby. With eyes on live performance and growing his social media presence (especially tik tok (8.3k)), Derrick aims to get his face everywhere in 2022 with music videos planned also.

Derrick moved to Leeds in late 2020 in hopes of finding a more alternative audience to match his musical and fashion tastes that he could build and grow with organically, performing at local circuits and establishing real relationships with fans. With the release of Part 2 of his project '...and other creepy crawlies' on the horizon, containing the best music Derrick has ever produced, the future is looking bright for the aspiring artist.
