Today New York’s Daneshevskaya returns with “Scrooge,” a swirling look at estrangement in a relationship, painted in their signature dark romanticism. Loosely referencing Charles Dickens' A Christmas Story protagonist, "Scrooge" unfolds as a lush arrangement of strings, guitars and doubled vocals. Long time Daneshevskaya fans may remember the song from an earlier release, but this year it’s back with a fresh arrangement, newly recorded vocals and a charming music video made with the band’s Maddy Leshner.
