Nixer began as a conversation online between two friends at the beginning of the Global Pandemic. What seemed like an ordinary catch-up back in April 2020 has turned into something far more profound. The pair’s debut EP ‘PEOPLE FEEL’ received BBC 6Music support from Iggy Pop, Lauren Laverne (her ‘While You Were Sleeping’ pick), Steve Lamacq (featured & interviewed as a ‘Spotlight Artist) & 6Music’s Introducing Mixtape. Nixer also received airplay from Jack Saunders as his ‘Next Wave’ on the BBC R1 Indie Show as well as featuring on Spotify’s New Music Friday UK. The partnership has shown no sign of slowing down with 2023 promising a second EP being finalised and a very exciting remix package slated for May.
