Five-headed sonic beast chest. unveils All Good Things End their debut EP via French indie label Howlin’ Banana Records. For some time now, the Parisian band (featuring one British expat) has been making a name for itself, including internationally—NME recently named them as one of their top bands to watch in 2025.
With three sound engineers, a pedal player, and an Englishman who likes to shout into a microphone, they deliver a raw and uncompromising vision of post-punk. Their friendship was forged through a shared love of outrageous decibels and distorted experiments. Already active in various local bands, they couldn’t resist the call to make music together and satisfy a primary instinct: to make noise and make it well. chest.'s music blends sharp electric guitars, intense and danceable rhythms, and a powerful voice, creating an explosive yet introspective atmosphere. The band stands out with a lyrical yet minimalist writing style, exploring themes of alienation, regret, and doubt in a poignant way. Rather than simply reviving a past musical era, chest. aims to renew the genre by injecting it with fresh, striking energy—both dark and liberating.
Their debut EP, All Good Things End, is a bold sonic exploration that challenges the conventions of classic post-punk while paying homage to its roots in the current British and Irish noise scene. It presents each track as an immersive reflection on the world’s turmoil and personal observations of the struggles that surround us.
