With a genre-crossing sound, VALA, are a fusion of indie rock and pop, incorporating melodic hooks and smooth guitar riffs which has seen them likened to indie giants like The Strokes. So it's no wonder legendary producer of the bands first two albums, Gordon Raphael, took an interest in the band and helped guide them on this record. Their latest single sees the band bring a huge poppy chorus paired with their signature lo-fi guitar sounds resulting in one of the catchiest songs of the year.
