igers and Flies have spent the last few years sharpening their unique brand of wonky angular guitar music. Their move to Manchester saw the group almost double in size, with the addition of trumpet and trombone refining their sound and strengthening their sonic vitality. Since their debut release in 2021 with Liverpool-based Violette Records, the band have been entering ear holes across the country and further afield: 2022 saw the group embark on their largest European tour to date, with headline shows in Utrecht, Brussels and Paris. Following a sold out headline show at Manchester’s YES Basement last November, the group have been busily filling up their diary for the coming year. Highlights include the release of their new EP Nervous Entertainment and Fair Play festival in Manchester and support for The Monochrome Set on two dates of their UK tour.
