ABOUT THIS BAND

Colchester-based four piece, Anorak Patch, whose drummer is just 13 years old burst onto the scene last year with their debut singles, ‘Beans’ & ‘6 Week Party’, the latter of which making the BBC 6Music Playlist. Keyboardist Effie Lawrence formed the group in late 2019 with high school friends Luca Ryland (drums) & brother Oscar (guitar), along with bass player Eleanor Helliwell and have been quick to announce themselves into the UK music scene with national airplay and press.

Made up of Effie, Luca, Oscar and Eleanor, with ages ranging from 13 to 16, Anorak Patch are a teenage indie group that are making waves on a national scale. I think quite a lot of people where in bands when they where in school but the're probably now just embarrassing memories.
