For The Orchestra (For Now), music is anything but straightforward. It is panicky but melodic, with builds that dive into hysteria and whispers that launch into screams. Now, as they begin to rise from their London beginnings they feel a fear of stagnancy unlike before. While many see necessity as the mother of invention, this group believes that invention is the mother of necessity.
Formed in early 2023, the band itself has not released music yet, but were selected for this year’s Green Man and End of the Road festivals, while building a cult following and an excited buzz with live shows and fan-made bootlegs. Expect a blend of art rock, progressive pop and fortissimo breakdowns – with a string section offering sweet melodies to tug on your cold, dead heart strings.
