Artist-producer duo, Telemarkk, immerse themselves in a world of atmospheric synth-pop, fusing dream pop with modern electronica to create enthralling textured productions that are obscure yet outstanding. Max Berg and Asad Siddiqui, childhood friends from Southampton UK, describe the sound as an expansion of their love for varied genres of music, a key factor in forging their unique sound whilst still developing their sound at such a tender age of artistry. With a progression through multiple genres but stamping their trademark sound in modern synth-pop, Telemarkk announce their new single ‘Bloom’ out on the 12th of May, a track combining 80s inspired retro synth design with groovy bass lines and psychedelic elements to immerse the listener in an absorbing sonic experience. Destined for the summer, ‘Bloom’ is a catchy, euphoric synth-pop track, exploring isolation; the feeling of falling out of touch whilst still trying to keep a positive outlook. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the duo have been building their discography with singles Stay Up (Wide Awake), Washed Up, Reflection and now Bloom, which has built anticipation and readied the duo for an exciting reboot of their live performances and for their much-anticipated debut EP to be released later on in 2021.
