ABOUT THIS ARTIST

Swedish multi-instrumentalist Wa'el Mahrous had been writing music for various projects; work featured on different respectable music blogs such as Destroy//Exist, HYMN, and even establishing a solid local presence in the beautiful city of Malmö, Sweden with Mauv. Transitioning from the indie rock stage, Wa'el has started to write something more psych-pop-ish.The first single, "I Love You Why Would I Ever Leave? (Oh Right, and I'm Pretty High)" was released the 15th of September 2020. It shows a serene form of pop with soaring tendencies (thank you Obscure Sound for that lovely sentence), and is only the first of many on the way.
