ABOUT THIS BAND

TRAINING is the new duo of Johannes Schleiermacher (Sax, Flute, Synth) and Max Andrzejewski (Drums, Synth, Electronics, Voice). A TRAINING for the most musical freedom, ecstasy and spirituality. Based on immediate, transparent, undogmatic compositional miniatures TRAINING is the tool, the springboard, the vessel for these needs.

TRAINING presented the project "Three Seconds" together with John Dieterich (from Deerhoof) and the video Artist Işıl Karataş at Jazzfest Berlin 2020. They started working on music and videos during lockdown - on distance. All the music is based on individual transcriptions of / jams to small looped snippets of video field recordings from their individual surroundings - as a canned representation of the presence. All this put together in a very fun production process.

After releasing their *x EP in October, 2020, the Duo feat. John will now release their debut album THREE SECONDS in November, 2021
