Structure Moderne is a band from Paris, via London. It is post-punk sound, with rolemodels such as Fontaines D.C. or The Smile, as well as giants like Pink Floyd, Miles Davis or The Smiths.
The sound: Indie and kraut-rock drums spiced with afrobeat, strenghened by hypnotic dub basses; alternative or shoegaze inspired guitars with anatolian onirism; and a trumpet that gives a jazz feel or invites to a psyche trance.
Vocal parts often bear a touch of chamanism, use different languages (English, German, French, Russian), blend original lyrics and extracts from litterature masterpieces.
Perfectly suited for all Post-Punk playlists and Indie playlists, and for anyone who's looking for something intense and deep.
