Stratton 5 are an indie rock band from Hertfordshire, UK, and formed in 2019. This
aspiring group of teenagers are currently finishing recording tracks for their selfproduced
first album, taking inspiration from all types of rock genres. They have a
distinctive and original sound with music and lyrics that belie their youth. The band is
fronted by distinctive female vocal lead, supported by proficient musical interplay
between guitars and keyboards. Their style captures the best of indie rock, indie pop
and blues rock.
In March 2022 they were selected for radio airplay on BBC Introducing with their song
“She Dreams In Red”. Since their first release in 2020 they were nominated by Radio
Wigwam for best band, and also were featured on local commercial radio (Radio
Verulam, St Albans).
In February 2022 A1(M) Records reviewed their latest release saying “one of the best
voices we’ve heard for a while – perfect indie pop harmony – a band with a big future”.

‘Lead vocalist Ellie Terry delivers a stellar performance with the style and phrasing of a
