ABOUT THIS ARTIST

Snailbeach is the alias of Theo Williams, a 24-year-old artist based in South London. His take on Indie-Folk has a whimsical quality contrasted by nostalgic lyrics which tackle human relationships and mortality. Compared to Andy Shauf and influenced by the likes of Leonard Cohen and Lou Reed, Theo’s writing is sincere, creating a comforting, yet rugged sound world that muses on the past. Following a string of sold out London shows, Theo and his band have been working with producer Shuta Shinoda at Hackney Road Studios on a debut EP.
