Scrounge have released “Buzz/Cut”, their final single from, Almost Like You Could, out April 18th “Buzz/Cut” reaches back to an early grunge sound, with guitars shouting from the gutter. It’s also one of their catchiest and most danceable (punk dancing, that is) songs. Channeling the influence of bands like Fugazi, Unwound, and Sonic Youth, “UTG” is an urgent burst of sound, showcasing Lucy Alexander’s serrated guitar work and Luke Cartledge’s forceful drumming.
Lucy says of the track: "Buzz/Cut is about pleasure, self acceptance and having a good time. This song is a release of tension and something we always looking forward to playing live"
