Together, Sandy’s band build giant sized harmonies and resonating echoed guitar work that sounds like it was filtered through a glorious, sunny ’70s filter. Sometimes straight up breezy California surf rock, other times venturing into more hazy psych-pop, imagine if The Beach Boys recorded Pet Sounds again after listening to the Polyvinyl back catalog and you get some idea of where this is rooted.
