"Sam Skinner creates reflective, slow-burning songs through a quiet, indie-rock lens. Perhaps best known for his work as a member and recording engineer of Pinegrove, Skinner has also collaborated with the likes of  Forth Wanderers, Poise, Thelma and Darryl Rahn. Releasing EP Danny Through Junior in 2017, Impression marks his first full-length. Peeling back our perceptions, the album coaxes us into looking at our lives with a renewed clarity and soaks in themes of uncertainty, framing the fragility of finding your feet and life on the road, while revelling in the relief and comforts of home."
