The daughter of a Nigerian father and a Jamaican Mother, Chinwe was exposed to an eclectic range of music from an early age. Her DIY approach is something the artist was forced to contend with when creating her upcoming EP - a collection written over the course of lockdown after Chinwe lost her long-term studio due to rising rent costs.
