Salarymen are an Australian indie-rock duo, formed by Thom Eagleton and Renee de la Motte of Sydney’s Inner West. Taking cues from artists such as Arcade Fire, Angel Olsen and The Beach Boys, Salarymen combine vintage and modern influences in just the right balance, to create their own brand of memorable indie rock. Jangly guitars, analogue synths and lush harmonies feature heavily in their music, with the seamless combination of female and male vocals adding an impressive dynamic to the mix.
The duo hit the ground running in 2019 with the release of their debut single single ‘Please’, followed by five more singles and their debut EP 'Scene Change' in 2021. Salarymen have received consistent praise from the likes of triple j, NME, Pilerats, The Wild Honey Pie, Life Without Andy, FBi, 3RRR, Rage, Apple Music and Youtube. Meanwhile, their undeniable live shows have earned them support slots to Sloan Peterson, The Delta Riggs and Hayley Mary (The Jezabels) to name a few.
