We wrote SILVER JET during a cozy songwriting session in our rehearsal room in the countryside. It’s about breaking free from old habits and finding strength in togetherness during tough times. In the last months we noticed that the lyrics somehow describe our own journey as a band. Let's see where the SILVER JET will take us in the future. 💫

The sky last year, when SILVER JET was written.

By the way, it's the first song of ours that has a key change. Just like in the good old days of music. When we showed the demo to our producer Moses Schneider, he had a new idea for the bridge that introduces the key change. He was inspired by the iconic THX Deep Note, known from the movies: a moving cluster tone that resolves beautifully. We really love the result! :)

Yesterday the music video for SILVER JET came out. You can watch it here!

Lilli Albrecht created and directed the video. We know her since the beginning of Roller Derby, when she took photos of our first live shows. It's her debut music video and we are very proud of her.

We shot it on several evenings in June. These were the longest days of the year, waiting for the blue hour and nightfall. 🌙
