Rare DM is the brainchild of singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Erin Hoagg. She crafts intimate, alluring tunes that seamlessly blend dark aesthetics with dance-pop sensibilities. Armed with a collection of vintage analogue synthesizers and drum machines, while drawing inspiration from EBM, post-punk, minimal techno, electroclash and bloghouse, she transforms raw emotions into hypnotic melodies, with lyrics reflecting the complexities of human connection in the digital age. Rare DM has seamlessly transitioned from the studio to the stage, captivating audiences with electrifying performances across the globe. Her tours, spanning North America, Europe, and Mexico, have seen her share stages with esteemed acts including Molchat Doma, Mareux, Model/Actriz, Xeno & Oaklander, and Drab Majesty.
