Nrvs have lyrics that stalk a landscape of social dislocation & cloaked oppression: anxiety as a means of control; the dystopia of the ordinary. Production that feeds all that’s left of punk rock into a sonic meat grinder to produce raw beats like a choreographed high-speed car crash. Singer - Jimmy says: “I used to make beats for this oddball hiphop crew I was in. One day I bought a guitar off a fella I met at the Brixton Windmill. Because I had no idea how to play it, by trial and error I would come up with these weird phrases. I kept the errors & played them over & over like a hiphop loop … until eventually they would turn into songs about whatever I was pissed off about at the time. Then the guitar fella needed a place to stay so I said he could sleep on my floor if he played drums with me. We became Nrvs. We want to reignite the wail for the Final Century. Single Bad Taste & The Teeth I always wanted released on 7th May.
