ABOUT THIS ARTIST

Nik Brinkman is a songwriter / producer based in Auckland, NZ. Since releasing the critically acclaimed debut album 'Secret Stairs' in 2021, Nik is gearing up for releasing his Sophomore album 'World Within' early 2025. Recorded last summer at a small Beach town on the Kāpiti Coast, this album is a change of direction for Nik, - stepping away from the from modern software-driven production, opting instead to capture the feel of live instrumentation. "I wanted to play everything live and use only real instruments," Brinkman says. "I got exhausted from using software and midi to make music, I needed to actually play again.
