ROT-011 is the long-awaited debut cassette EP release by London's MIDDLEMAN. One of the London underground's most exciting new bands going right now, MIDDLEMAN have been playing around for about a good year now (but have been active in some form or another since long before) and have been turning heads with their unique sound and approach. Whereas many other Punk/Hardcore bands in London draw from styles such as 80s New York or Boston, this power trio formation of London youths take inspiration from the more cerebral, more angular sides of Punk such as MISSION OF BURMA, Minutemen, THE WIPERS and WIRE, while also maintaining a unique approach at such a sound. Recorded at the renowned Fuzzbrain Studios and mixed by Jonah Falco (Fucked Up, Career Suicide, Game etc), "Cut Out the Middleman" is a triumph of creativity.
Go to the "Cut Out the Middleman" EP release show on December 12th at The George Tavern in Limehouse - support from ISLAND OF LOVE, TINA KIT and THE STRONGEST TOOL.
