ABOUT THIS BAND

Max Savage (Parquet Courts), didn’t even come up with the name Maxband, because this is no self-indulgent solo project. Trading drums for guitar, Savage shares songwriting and vocal duties with bassist Patrick Smith (A Beacon School), guitarist Tim Nelson, and drummer Eric Read. Since releasing their Top of the Stairs EP in 2020, Maxband has shared the stage with acts including A Place to Bury Strangers, Sports Team, KennyHoopla and more. Now three years later, they’re back and better than ever, with their debut album finally imminent.
