Bristol risers MOULD release their self-titled debut EP, out today (August 2nd) via Nice Swan Records (English Teacher, Sprints, Opus Kink).
Teaming with the esteemed indie tastemaker label, MOULD (featuring Joe Sherrin, Kane Eagle and James Luxton) incorporate the influences of acts such as Fugazi, Pile and Weezer in their dynamic sound, and have already received widespread acclaim throughout the press landscape in recent times (NME, DIY, Dork, So Young, Clash, The Line Of Best Fit, Rough Trade, Brooklyn Vegan).
With immense support across the BBC 6 Music (Huw Stephens, Amy Lamé) and Radio X (John Kennedy) airwaves, the chunky power trio’s EP lead singles ‘Cables’ and ‘Glow’ have seen them work alongside revered producers Harri Chambers (Lucy Rose, L’objectif) and Jon McMullen (Wet Leg, Michael Kiwanuka) to sublime effect, as they begin their ascent towards the emerging indie elite.
Having ticked off dates alongside Lip Critic earlier this summer, in addition to their first foray on the UK festival circuit, MOULD’s frenetic live reputation is primed to grow in the coming months, with further dates lined up at the likes of Live At Leeds and Left Of The Dial this autumn.
MOULD’s self-titled debut EP is out now via Nice Swan Records and available on all digital platforms.
