British punk triage Lady Bird announce live album/film, ‘WE’ ‘U’ ‘LIVE’, set for release December 9th via Alcopop! Records (Pulled Apart By Horses, The Subways, Tigercub), and reveal brand new single, ‘Baby!’ Live At The Tunbridge Wells Forum’, out today (November 18th).
The track, described by frontman Don Bird as “a special dedication to the loyal loveliness”, is taken from their hometown performance on September 15th 2021, and encompasses the group’s raw and bright energy, whilst brimming with lively interactions between them and their hearty following.
The accompanying live album film follows the band, and their live performance through an analogue lens, capturing tracks including ‘Social Potions’, ‘Reprisal’, ‘Got Lucky’ and ‘Bludsuckers’, plus a plethora of unseen content, conveying the embers of ‘WE’ behind the scenes.
‘WE ‘U’ ‘LIVE’ comes after ‘WE’, the band’s globally consumed debut album “which is a headline of juxtaposition.” says Donny. "Come and see the next chapter, which picks up from where the last film - Silent Sam - left off".
The film will be premiered on December 8th at the venue in which it was filmed, The Tunbridge Wells Forum.
Lady Bird’s ‘WE’ ‘U’ ‘LIVE’ is out December 9th via Alcopop! Records and will be available across all digital platforms.
