Thrilling London quartet L.A. Peach share mesmeric new offering ‘Power Trip’, the second reveal from their ‘Welcome to L.A. Peach’ EP, set for release November 18th. 

Assuming the guise of a trashy 80’s house band, ‘Power Trip’ showcases the group’s slinky charisma, tireless hustle and stellar songwriting to sublime effect, and follows evocative EP lead single ‘Amateur’, arriving last month to welcome praise from the likes of DIY and The Independent, alongside early spins on the BBC 6 Music airwaves (Radcliffe & Maconie).

Marshalled by enigmatic band leader John James Davies, the London collective are primed to embark on their debut UK headline tour following slots alongside the likes of Walt Disco, Drugdealer and Trudy and the Romance, as well as early acclaim from key press champions galore (So Young, Clash, Dork, The Line Of Best Fit) for their signature wry sleaze-pop. 

Detailing their latest EP offering, frontman Davies explained: “‘Power Trip’ is about creepy power-hungry men. You know the type I mean; the ones that need to become extinct. The ones that don’t allow for safe spaces to be created. The ones that make you ill at ease in all situations. I did my best to create a character that you hate! And I hope you all hate him as much as we do!”
