Husbands is an OKC-based indie rock band that plays landlocked beach pop that sidequests Krautrock, garage rock, and tropicalia. A lot of people call it bedroom pop, which is not inaccurate. Wishful thinking in soft, feel-good hues while never shaking an undercurrent of existentialism.
Formed in 2013 as a file sharing, long-distance recording project between founding members / college friends Danny Davis and Wil Norton, Husbands slowly grew into the full-fledged touring act it is today. Somewhere in the middle, Danny quit his longtime 9-to-5 and moved to Costa Rica, and Wil departed the band to focus on family. Currently, Danny is joined by Alberto Roubert on drums, Zach Zeller on keys and guitar, and Ethan Wilcox on bass.
Known for their optimistic spirit and high energy performances, Husbands has spent time on the road headlining US tours, playing major festivals (ACL, Lolla, GovBall, etc), and supporting the likes of Goth Babe, Men I Trust, Cold War Kids, and Wilderado. Husbands remain on the move—currently prepping for a Spring ’25 US headline tour and grinding away in the studio writing new music for Album 5 until then.
