Toronto-based artist Housewife (aka Brighid Fry) delivers pop-flavoured indie-rock songs about messy situationships, climate change, and women reclaiming their space in the world.
Housewife has toured extensively across the US and Canada with artists including Paolo Nutini and Addison Grace, and recent singles Life Of The Party, Wasn't You, I Lied, Fuck Around Phase and King of Wands have picked up support from outlets across the globe including SiriusXM, BBC Radio 1, CBC and BBC 6Music. 2024 has seen Housewife play festivals including SXSW, The Great Escape, New Colossus, Reeperbahn, Waves Vienna and M For Montreal and tour the UK with Lauran Hibberd.
Winning awards for her songs since she was a young teen, Fry’s songwriting has matured along the way as they collaborate with industry mainstays like Gabe Simon (Noah Kahan, Lana Del Rey), Carrie K (The Regrettes), Mikky Ekko (Rihanna), Derek Hoffman (Arkells, Ralph) and dozens of others.
