Girl Group

Girl Group was born mainly out of spite. Tired of the music studios being made available to them on a guest-only basis, Katya, Maria, Thea, Mia and Lil decided to combat the ever-present boys club with a group of their own.

Girl Group is a feminist project based in Liverpool which aims to celebrate and make space for women by creating music with only women involved in every step of the process. Anytime you see a song labelled 'Girl Group', you can rest assured that all the producers, session musicians, mastering engineers, photographers and of course writers are women.
