Song Quote
''Go' is about navigating the fleeting connections and temporary love that are part of life during young adulthood. During this time everybody's on their own path eager to be something, run from something or a bit of both and it's hard for connections to last in the midst of all that. It's a slow jam of a song but definitely packed with energy. We find it keeps building tension throughout till the last chorus when there's this release and more melodies and emotion shine through.'
Blending alternative influences with rock, pop and indie-soul the Irish-Italian outfit takes influence from acts such as The Cure, Pixies, J.J. Cale, and Big Thief. Since their debut EP release in June 2022, Big Sleep have toured around Europe, received regular international radio play and featured on heavyweight Spotify editorials like New Music Friday, The Other List, All New Rock to name a few. 2024 has been a sell out year with headliners across Dublin, London and Berlin alongside festival appearances at All Together Now and Forbidden Fruit. The band were also awarded the accolade as one of 2FM's Rising Artists of 2024. Just off the back of a sold out Camden Assembly London show and with a thick catalogue of tracks recorded for release, 2024 is set to be a breakout year internationally for Big Sleep.
