ABOUT THIS BAND

Bedbug invented indie rock in 1996 (at birth). The genre's has since waned, leading bedbug to become a progenitor of the now-decrepit "bedroom pop" genre. In it's wake, the remains of cassettes and casio keyboards scatter the floors of hyperpop-ists and soundcloud rappers. "Bedroom pop" Playlists became bloated with alt-pop stars and AI generated elevator music. Fans of the once-lively genre lament, "God themself cannot resurrect the soul of independent low fidelity bedroom pop!" And yet, like a phoenix rising from the ashes of a musical graveyard, bedbug persists and all rejoice.

Bedbug has released music through Z Tapes, Joy Void and (currently) Disposable America. They're a member of the Party for Socialism and Liberation.
