ABOUT THIS ARTIST
Pedro Zopelar has built a distinguished place in the Brazilian electronic music industry. Musician, producer, DJ, co-founder of the infamous party “ODD”, one of the events responsible for crafting São Paulo’s big reputation in night culture around the globe, and creative head on the labels “ODDiscos” and “In Their Feelings” together with his longtime partner Davis. Zopelar is known as a complete and versatile music producer, and is a key figure in many projects, releasing tracks under different alliances as: “My Girlfriend”, “Sphynx”, “Radioworkers”, and the live performance bands “Teto Preto” and “L’Homme Statue”. His legacy carries great influences of Brazilian music, Hip hop, R&B, Jazz, Rock, Fusion and Funk. The enthusiasm for composing and synthesizing his own beats, coupled with dexterity and sensitivity with the instruments, opened Pandora's box to Zopelar. His creations were released on his own ITF and ODDicos labels and joined global forces like Apron Records, Soul Clap, Axe On Wax and 777 Recordings. His last album “Joy Of Missing Out” released in February 2020 on Steven Julien’s Apron Records is an example of his big range in terms of production, taking attention of many DJs around the world and being played in radios like BBC, NTS Radio, The Lot Radio and more!
