Throughout the course of nine songs, the artist takes you on an emotional journey with the help of acoustic instruments. He delivers a very thoughtful bedroom pop made out of poignant and sentimental ballads. vern matz succeeds in tackling universal feelings such as loneliness and sadness in a unique way with his slow melodies and his peculiar singing. Listening to vern matz feels like listening to an old friend telling you about life and that makes it all particularly moving.
