ABOUT THIS BAND

Boasting a line-up which includes members of Moses, Solo Ono, Sweaty Betty, Kittentank and Echo Beach, Wellington’s Tidal Rave draw influence from a variety of styles of garage rock, including a healthy dose of the surf rock alluded to in the group’s name. Their debut EP was recorded (2017) in the long-serving live-venue-turned-recording-studio Chicks Hotel in Dunedin by in-house engineer Tom Bell. In 2018, they added a Synth Player – bringing them up to a six-piece. They released their debut album 'Heart Screams' through Fishrider Records in 2020 and are currently working on their follow up 'Albumette.' New singles are on the way in 2021.
