ABOUT THIS BAND

Aileen McKenna,also known as This Ship Argo, is a writer, producer and multi-instrumentalist vocalist from Belfast, Northern Ireland. This Ship Argo is a primarily electronic project, weaving low tempo melodies and drones, distorted synth lines, and layers of harmony to tell the stories within the songs.

Kintsugi, the debut record, was recorded, produced and mixed at home by McKenna. It tells the story of how the things that damage us are embraced and worn on the outside for the world to see, and not hidden away like we're told they should be.
