The Slow Readers Club are Aaron Starkie (vocals / keys) Kurtis Starkie (guitar / vocals) James Ryan (bass) and David Whitworth (drums).

They write anthemic, uplifting post punk alt-rock songs with sing-along choruses whilst being lyrically dark, political and thoughtful. Experiencing them play live tells you everything you need to know about them.

In 2023 the band released their 6th studio album ‘Knowledge Freedom Power' which reached No29 in the UK charts.
