The Slashes

Borderland post punk band, The Slashes, takes you back to the 70s London post punk era mixed with some 80s new romantic wave. Band members include Esteban Rene (vocals/guitar), Beto Bautista (bass), and Carlos Robles (drums). They released their self titled debut album in 2015 and have played shows around Southern California at notable venues like The Observatory in Santa Ana, the legendary Rainbow Bar in LA, and The Casbah in San Diego. In 2018, they released their singles “Heavy Bowie” and “City By”, growing their fanbase in New York City, playing shows in the Lower East Side and Brooklyn. In 2019, they recorded and released their newest single “Rain Ballet”, their love letter to New York.
