ABOUT THIS ARTIST

The Joshua Hotel is the new project of Multi-Instrumentalist, Songwriter and Producer, Joshua Mackenzie.   During a year of recording in isolation at his rural home studio deep in the Highlands of Scotland, Joshua drew production inspiration from an eclectic mix of electronic artists such as Metronomy, Human League, Depeche Mode and Mount Kimbie. Whilst maintaining his identity as an accomplished lead guitar player, singer and lyricist, he formed a fitting sonic backdrop of Lo-Fi, atmospheric electro for a unique collection of heartfelt and introspective songs.
